Very famous for Pithru Karyiam
(Oblations for the departed souls) where three rivers joins and flowing
to Sea. It is believe that, the great Monk Sri Adi Shankara done his mother’s
Pithur Karyiam at this place.Thila Homam beingdone in the name of Athma
( Name and star to mentioned) for and Pushpajali is done on the name of
the person for whom it is being done. e.g. Son or daughter’s name.
